  title: IPOR Fusion API
  version: "2026-11-05"
summary: Read-only JSON API for IPOR Fusion vault and market statistics.
  description: |
Public, read-only data behind https://app.ipor.io/fusion: current vault and market
statistics plus hourly history. Built for scripts and AI agents.

    ## Start here
    - List vaults: `GET /v2/fusion/vaults` (about 55 KB gzipped, every vault on every chain).
    - Current market rates: `GET /v2/fusion/markets`.
    - Hourly history: `GET /v2/fusion/vault-history/{chainId}/{vaultAddress}-{period}` and
      `GET /v2/fusion/market-history/{chainId}/{protocol}/{substrate}-{period}`.
    - Smoke test:
      `curl -s --compressed https://api.ipor.io/v2/fusion/vaults | jq '.vaults[0] | {chainId, address, name, netApy, tvl}'`

    ## Rules that trip up clients
    1. **No auth, no API key, no query parameters.** Every input is part of the URL path.
    2. **Addresses in paths must be lowercase.** Responses are files on S3 behind CloudFront and
paths are case-sensitive keys: a checksummed address returns 404.
    3. **Errors are XML, not JSON.** A missing file (unknown vault, unsupported period,
mixed-case address) returns HTTP 404 with an S3 `NoSuchKey` XML body. Check the status
       before parsing.
    4. **Numbers are mostly decimal strings** (`"3.1786"`), with more precision than a double.
Parse them with a decimal library. A few fields are JSON numbers; each schema says which.
    5. **Percentages are in percent, not fractions:** `"4.65"` means 4.65 %.
    6. **Responses are gzipped.** Send `Accept-Encoding: gzip` (`curl --compressed`).
    7. **Data is regenerated on a schedule, not live.** Statistics points are roughly hourly.
       Each vault carries `lastReadBlockTimestamp` and each file a `creationDate`/`createdAt`;
use them to judge freshness. Responses carry `etag` and `last-modified`, so conditional
       requests work.

    ## Which APY to use
All APY fields below are **spot rates**: forward-looking annualised rates as of the
statistics point, not realised past performance. Each statistics point runs a 1-hour forward simulation of the vault, and the rates are annualised from it with compounding (only `underlyingAssetApy` is linear).

    | Field | Meaning |
    |---|---|
    | `netApy` | Headline yield for a depositor. Derived from the expected change of the vault share price going forward, **after** the vault's management and performance fees. Use this to answer "what does a depositor earn right now". |
    | `grossApy` | The same share-price-based spot rate **before** the management and performance fees. `grossApy - netApy` is the fee drag. |
    | `apy` | Spot APY of the vault's market positions: each market's expected growth over the simulation, weighted by the vault's balance in it. **Before vault fees and without rewards** (rewards are in `rewardsApy`). Built bottom-up from the markets, so it can differ from `grossApy`, which comes from the share price. Not an after-fee figure; use `netApy` for that. |
    | `underlyingAssetApy` | Yield of the underlying asset itself (e.g. staking yield of cbETH). Annualised linearly from the price change of the underlying. Informational only: not a component of `apy` and can be higher than it. |
    | `rewardsApy` | Expected yield from rewards: rewards the vault can claim through its reward fuses, plus off-chain programs (e.g. Merkl) that IPOR has configured for the markets the vault holds. Not included in `apy`. Campaigns that are not configured show as 0 here, including Merkl campaigns that pay holders of another Fusion vault this vault deposits into; once claimed, those rewards still reach the share price. |
    | `vestingApy` | Yield from rewards the curator adds to the vault, vested into the share price over time. |
    | `rewardsVestingApy` | Yield coming only from external reward programs the vault takes part in, vested into the share price over time. |

Because they are spot rates, `netApy` and `grossApy` can move noticeably from one hourly
point to the next. For a smoother figure, average them over the history points or compare
`assetsToSharesRatio` between two points yourself. Both are null for vaults that are too
young or have no share-price history yet; fall back to `apy` and say it is before fees.

    ## History buckets and the merge rule
History files come in four buckets: `7d`, `30d`, `1y`, `all`. Points are roughly hourly.
Longer buckets are regenerated less often, so their newest point lags real time
(`7d` is regenerated every 5 minutes, `30d` once a day, `1y` every 7 days, `all` every 30 days). To get a series that reaches the present,
fetch the requested bucket plus the shorter ones and merge them:

    | Requested | Fetch |
    |---|---|
    | `7d` | `7d` |
    | `30d` | `30d`, `7d` |
    | `1y` | `1y`, `30d`, `7d` |
    | `all` | `all`, `1y`, `30d`, `7d` |

Merge by `blockNumber`, sort ascending, and on a duplicate `blockNumber` keep the point from
the shorter (more current) bucket. Because a bucket lags, its oldest point can be less than
its nominal length before the newest merged point: to look exactly N days back, fetch the
next longer bucket too (for "30 days ago", add `1y` or `all`). A 404 on one bucket is normal (a vault younger than a year
has no `1y` file). History values are occasionally recomputed to fix bugs, so cached
files should be revalidated with `If-None-Match`.

    ## Not for agents
    - `GET /fusion/vaults` is the legacy full snapshot: about 85 MB uncompressed. Do not fetch
      it to read one vault.
    - Writes (vault descriptions, logos) go to a different host, `api.mainnet.ipor.io`, need a
signed request from the vault's role holder, and are not part of this API description.
    - On-chain truth (exact balances, roles, fees, deposits) comes from the vault contracts,
the Python SDK (`pip install ipor-fusion`) or the IPOR Fusion MCP server, not from this API.

Vaults with no statistics yet have null in all numeric fields.

Finding a vault by name: names are free text set by the curator and often end with the
chain ("IPOR USDC Lending Optimizer Ethereum"), and several vaults can share a base name
across chains. Filter by `chainId` first, then match the name case-insensitively as a
substring. The address is the only unique key.

The snapshot is written separately from the history files, so its
`lastReadBlockNumber` can be newer than the last point of `vault-history`.
